Somino, a country estate

Somino, a country estate (the village of Somino, the Boksitogorsk district). It is located in the eastern part of the village near the Church of Sts. Peter and Paul the Apostles. In the early 20th century the estate was called Berzhok (Abramyshevo), it belonged to P.I. Savinich. It consists of two wooden buildings: a manor-house and an outhouse for servants. The one-storied manor-house was built in the 19th century, the entrance and the attic over it are decorated with colomns. In the opposite side of the house there is an additional storey in the form of a tower. At the present time the Vozhanskoye forestry administration is placed in the manor-house.
