The monument to N.N. Demidov. It was opened in the village of Chirkovitsi of the Yamburg uyezd (now it is the Volosovo district) in 1838. It was erected in the area of the Church of the Holy Face (it was rebuilt in 1862-1868 on the project of the architect I.I. Bulanov). The monument is constructed in the birth-place of Nikolay Nikitich Demidov. Placing the memorable signs in the birth place of the Demidovs' family member was the family tradition in the 19th century. The monument was made of cast iron at the St. Petersburg Alexander Iron Foundry. The monument is a column crowned with the hemisphere and tripod with a bowl lamp. On the pedestal face side there is the inscription informed about the birth of the son Nikolay in the family of the Ural owner of mines and metallurgical works N.A. Demodov in the village of Chirkovitsi on November 9, 1773.
