The Vsevolozhsk Museum of the Local History (Vsevolozhsk Town, 40, Koltushi Road). The museum was created in 1988 on the initiative of the local historian M.S. Ratnikova. The museum exhibition, it was founded in 1990, included a number of exhibitions devoted to the history of the Vsevolozhsk District: "Byt dorevolyutsionnogo gorozhanina" ("The Everyday Life of a City Dweller before the Revolution"), "Malaya kartinnaya galereya uchastnikov Otechestvennoy voyni 1812 goda" ("The Small Picture Gallery of Participants of the Great Patriotic War of 1812"), "Pervaya v Rossii Irinovskaya uzkokoleynaya zheleznaya doroga" ("The First Russian Narrow-Gage Railroad"), "Rod knyazey Vsevolozhskikh" ("The Prince Vsevolozhsky Family"), "Vsevolozhsk v godi blokadi Leningrada" ("Vsevolozhsk Town during the Siege of Leningrad"), "Khudozhestvenniye izdeliya iz kvartsevogo stekla mestnogo mastera Aleksandra Burova" ("Art Works Made of Quartz Glass by the local Master Aleksandr Burov") and others. From 1992 the museum published the local history magazine "Myzi I Muzi" ("Country Houses and Muses").
