The Museum of Vodka is located in the village of Verkhniye Mandrogi of the Podporozhye District. It was founded in 1968 by the Petersburg businessman S.E. Guttsait according to a tourism commercial project. The museum is one of most popular objects of the tourist centre. On the museum exposition there are more then 2200 sorts of vodka (the data of 2003) in bottles of different forms including "Transport vihicles" and "arms" forms as well as machines for making alcoholic drinks. Kitchen utensils, stuffed animals were used for designing the exposition. At the museum there is a shop where different sorts of vodka can be bought and tasted. Lectures on the history of vodka with tasting are organised for excursion groups.
