The Church of Apostle Peter and Apostle Paul (the Urban Settlement of Vyritsa , 28 Pavassara Street). The first in the settlement church built according to the decision of owners of lands (including I.A. Churikov) and mainly for their donatives. A single-domed Russian style church (built according to the design of the civil engineer N.I. Kotovich) was consecrated on 22 June 1908. Vyritsa Settlement, Krasnitsi Village and Petrovka Village were included in the new parish. Geory Preobrazhensky (the church dean from 1911) and other priests- Simeon Biryukovich, Andrey Kornilov, Nikolay Bagryansky, archipriest Vladimir Irodionov, deacon Arkady Molchanov - were subjected to repression at the Soviet time. In 1938 the church was closed and used for a community centre. At the beginning of World War II the church upper part was destroyed, invaders did a stable in it. In 1942 the church was opened and consecrated; the iconostas was transported from a church of Yashchera Village, the Sanctuary Doors were brought from a church of Vvedenskoye Village. At the same time a reliquary with particles of the holy relics of fourteen saints including the Apostles Peter and Paul. The next repair was done by Archpriest Vladimir Sidorov (the church dean during 1963-1997). Among the church shrines there are four icons with particles of the holy relics, three icons of the Mother of God, an icon of St. Nicholas and others.
