Musselius, Aleksandr Vasilyevich (1822 - 1892). In 1844 Musselius graduated from the Building College in St. Petersburg. During 1844 - 1857 he was a gubernia architect in Novgorod City, from 1857 he was an architect of the St.Petersburg Gubernia, from 1873 he was a gubernia engineer too. Musselius built several tenement blocks and mansions in St. Petersburg. Musselius was a member - founder of the St. Petersburg Society of Architects (it was founded in 1870). He was a Full State Counsellor. He was an author of projects of the Church of the Holy Trinity and the Church of St. Modestus the Great Martyr in Issad Village. Aleksandr Vasilyevich Musselius was buried in the Novodevichye cemetery in St. Petersburg.
