THE SOSNOVY BOR CENTRAL TOWN LIBRARY ( 46 Leningradskaya Street, Sosnovy Bor Town). The library was founded in 1967 as a settlement library. The first director was R. K. Shmyrina). In 1980 in the process of integrating of the town libraries into a centralized library network was given the status of central town library. Its general-purpose fund numbers 55,000 items; the library has 17,000 readers with around 44,000 visits and about 225,000 loans annually. The library offers online delivery of materials. It is also a scientific-and-information and legal centre, as well as member of corporate library network in the North-West of Russia.
