Aleksey Grigoryevich Lelyakov (1930-1996), an architect - park designer. A.G. Lelyakov graduated from the I.Ye. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in 1957. He was an expert of landscape architecture and the Head of the LenNIIproject (the Leningrad Research Institute of Designing) Particularized Workshop. He was the author and a coauthor of projects of parks and public gardens in St. Petersburg (the Southern Primorsky Park, Sosnovka Park, the Park of Cities-Heroes and others). He occupied with restoration and reconstruction of park ensembles in towns of Lomonosov, Petrodvorets, Mikhailovka, Strelna, Pavlovsk, Kronshtadt. He was at the head of the memorial "Levashovo waste plot" creators composite author. The memorial was built on the burial place of the political terror victims. A.G. Lelyakov worked in the towns of Gatchina, Novaya Ladoga (the memorial cemetery), the urban settlement of Vyritsa of the Leningrad Oblast.
