The Cathedral of the Birth of John the Precursor (Kamennye Polyany Village, Luga District). The original stone church was built from 1552 to 1563. In 1646 the chapel of St Ioann of Novgorod was built, in 1718 more two chapels were built: the stone chapel of the Holy Spirit and the wooden chapel of St Kliment of Rome. The orriginal church was burnt down in 1827. From 1832 to 1834 the new stone church in the classicism style was built and the bell tower was added, the chapel of St Mitrofan of Voronezh was built in the crypt. The church was closed on 27 March 1939. It was re-opened in January 1942 and the church was completely closed in 1945. Now the church building is ruined.
