KOBRINSKOYE, an urban settlement in Gatchina District. Population: 1,200. It is situated on the Kobrinka River (tributary of the Suida), 2 km away from Pribytkovo railway station of the Gatchina-Luga branch. It adjoins Kobrino village in the east. It appeared in 1949 as a settlement for peat production workers. A narrow-gage railroad closed in the 1970s extended near K. In 1980–2004 it was an urban settlement, but in 2004 the status was changed due to the closing of the peat production facility and reduction in the population. The settlement has a library.
