The Church of the Metropolitan Alexis of Moscow (Taytsy Village, 16a Gatchina Road). In 1906 in the village of Taytsi a wooden church was built according to the design of the architect A.V. Olkhouvsky. In 1921 it was closed, in 1923 the church was dismantled and transferred to the Taytsi cemetery and then it was consecrated in the name of St. Nicholas, in 1934 it was destroyed. A stone church in the New Russian style for 700 parishioners was built during 1913-1914 (by the architect I.V. Ekskuzovich; according to another information it was built by N.I. Postnikov). It was consecrated in 1921. It was closed in 1939 and used for a community centre. During 1941 -1943 the church worked. In 1990 the church was returned to belivers, the public worships were begun to performe in January 1991; by 2002 the church was restored.
