The Cathedral of the Archangel Michael (Toksovo Settlement, 16 Lyzhnaya Street). In 1993 the wooden chapel of the Archangel Michael was built in the settlement, during 1994-1995 the altar and narthex was built up and on 19 November 1995 the chapel was consecrated as a church. A brick five-domed cathedral in the New Russian style was constructed during 1999-2003 (the architect V.F. Nazarov). The cathedral is 37 metres high, the built up three-domed "Pskov style" bell gable is 25 metres high, a bell was installed in 2001. The porcelain iconostas was made by the ceramics-master Yu. Volkotrub, icons were painted in the workshop of the deacon Valery Kalinin. The church was consecrated on 19 September 2004 by the Metropolitan Vladimir (Kotlyarov) as a cathedral. A church house with an alms-house and a domestic church are built instead of the constructions that were burned in 1998.
