The Church of the Nativity of Christ (Staropolye Village, Slantsy District). The stone church with added the four tier bell tower was built in the Russian style to the design of the architect I.B. Slupsky in 1878-88, its side chapels were devoted to the Icon of the Mother of God "Consolation of All Who Sorrow" and St Nicholas. The church was consecrated in 1888. It did not work from 1937. The church was closed on 13 July 1938 and the church building was adapted for machine-tractor workshops. In 1990 the religious community in the name of Prophet Elijah was registered and the semi-ruined church building was transferred to the community. The religious services are performed in the Elijah side chapel, which was formed in the bell tower, and the side chapel was consecrated in 1998 . The restoration work is done.
