"The Local History Kaleidoscope", an information bulletin

"The Local History Kaleidoscope", an unperiodical information bulletin. It is published by the Leningrad Oblast universal science library. From 1996 till 2003 eight issues were published. The bulletin is intended for covering the locak history study work of the oblast library. It included detailed chronicle of events held by libraries including rural ones (exhibitions, competitions, parties, meetings, days and weeks of the local history study, presentations of new books on the local history). Posters, programmees, invitation cards are reproduced in some bulletin issues. There are data about gifts to libraries, about the work of the local history study clubs, literary associations, about their local history editions, about photo albums that are kept in library funds, about exhibitions of folk art, folklore festivals and many others.
