Sertolovo Town coat of arms and flag, the

The Sertolovo Town's coat of arms and flag are the official symbols of the Municipal Union “Gorod Sertolovo” (The Town of Sertolovo) that were approved with the decision of the Representative Assembly of the Municipal Union “Gorod Sertolovo” (The Town of Sertolovo) of 27 December 2000, No. 01. The heraldic description of the coat of arms: “Within the azure field there is a golden pine with four roots that are interlaced with a silver unsheathed sword. The sword is placed aflat.” The settlement was founded as a military town and the sword which is interlaced with pine’s root shows it. The pine also remembers about pine forests of the Karelian Isthmus where the town is located. The flag is a rectangle dark blue sheet in the ratio of width to length 2:3 that depicts the design of the shield of the coat of arms. The coat of arms was registered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation under the No. 717, and the flag was registered under the No. 718. Tripolskaya, Anna Aleksandrovna
