SOSNOVO SETTLEMENT LIBRARY named after Yu. German (10 Svyaz Street, Sosnovo Settlement) The library was opened on November 1944 and was first to open in Priozersk District in the post-war period. Since 1977 it had the status of a branch at Priozersk District centralized library network, since 2006 it has been functioning as an independent library. In 1989 the library was given the name of writer Y. P. German. The library fund numbers 22,000 items, with 55,500 loans a year. It has around 1,500 readers, with 18,500 loans a year. The library keeps the grave of woman folk tale narrator Paraske Larin.
