The Church of the Holy Trinity (Issad Village, Volkhov District). The Monastery of the Holy Trinity in Zlatyn worked in the fishing village of Issad in the middle of the 16th с, the monastery was plundered by Swedish interventionists in the early 17th c. The wooden monastery church of the Holy Trinity (then the parish church), on the bank of the River Volkhov, was dismantled because of its dilapidated condition in 1858. The new stone church with the bell tower was built, on the place of the former church, to the design of the architect K.A. Ton in association with the architect K.I. Brandt and the architect A.V. Musselius in 1863-1866. In 1870 the church-parish was opened, in 1872 the guardianship was organized. The church did not work from 1935, it was closed on 9 May 1941 then the church building was adapted for the "culture institution". The church building was empty after WWII and it was ruined.
