"Oredezh", an anthology

"Oredezh", a literary and local historic anthology (Gatchina Town). The founder of the anthology is the administration of the Gatchina district. From 2000 to 2005 three issues of the anthology have been published with the circulation 1000 copies. Articles about the history and nature of the Gatchina district (sections "The History and Local History", "The Lovely Land of Nature"), local authors' poems and prose works (the section "Literary Pages") are published in the anthology. Local authors' songs (with sheet music) are placed in the section "The Music Salon", essays about masters of arts which lived in the district and painted it were published in the section "Painters on the Oredezh River Banks". Memoirs, publicism, biographic essays (sections "Famous People of the Gatchina District", "Famous People in the Gatchina Land") are published in the annthology. The second issue was devoted to the 60th anniversary of the Victory, the third issue was devoted to the 20th anniversary of Pushkin's festivals in the Gatchina district. There are coloured illustrations (reporting and art photographs, reproductions of art works). Now the fourth issue has been prepared for publication. Ansberg, Olga Nikolayevna
