"Vsevolozhsk vesti" ("Vsevolozhsk News")(Vsevolozhsk Town, 86 Oktyabrya Street ) social ,political newspaper of Vsevolozhsk district. It was founded in 1994, has come out since January 1995. The decision to publish a new newspaper ,which mainly publishes materials on local news, was made by administrative soviet (conference of heads of administration of villages and volosts of oblast).The editorial staff of a new newspaper consisted of journalists from the newspaper «Nevskaya Zarya». At present the constitutors of a newspaper are the Committee on information policy and telecommunication of the Leningrad Oblast, administration of Vsevolozhsk district and editorial staff. It is publishing twice a week, circulation is 8.5 thousand. It reflects political, economic,social and cultural life of a district, publishes official documents of administration. There are 14 supplements for departments of municipal educational establishments. There is a regional column «Remote –Close». Competitions on Sport Orientation are held annually to get a newspaper prize.A lot of journalists from "Vsevolozhsk vesti" are prize-winners of professional contests.
