The Church of Apostle Peter and Apostle Paul (the Gatchina District, the urban settlement of Siversky, 29 Krasnaya Street). It was the first church in the dacha area of Siversky. The wooden church was built during 1888-1889 (by the architect P.S. Samsonov) for the money of summer residents (including the poet A.N. Maykov, the doctor V.T. Nikitin). The Russian style church with the tent-shaped roof is remarkable for the rich carved decoration and the unique iconstasis. In 1902 a detached wooden bell tower was constructed. In 1938 the church was closed, in June 1941 it was adapted for a pioneer centre. From autumn 1941 public worships were begun to perform. In 1953 the church was consecrated after a major repairs. In the 1980s the old bell tower was demolished and a new one was built closer to the church. The especially respected icon of the "Three-Handed" Mother of God, the Tikhvin icon of the Mother of God, the Kazan icon of the Mother of God, the icon of the Intercession of the Mother of God and others are the church shrines. At the church there were two added chapels: the church of St. Prince Alexander Nevsky at the Railway Station of Siverskaya (it was closed in 1919, in the late 1930s it was destroyed); the chapel od Sts. Florus and Laurus in the village of Mezhno (it was closed in 1938, now it is in ruins).
