The Volosovo Museum of the Local History (Volosovo Town, 5 Fyedor Afanasyev Street), the people's museum. It was founded on November 7, 1977. Documents concerning the history of Izhora Lands, ethnography, the partisan movement during World War II are presented in 5 rooms of the museum. The museum staff arranges temporary exhibitions, holds museum lessons for pupils, organizes bus tours in the district, holds conferences and seminar of local historians. Karpenko, Irina Aleksandrovna
