The Church of Apostle Peter and Apostle Paul (the Tosno District, Lyuban Town, 1 Zagorodnoye Road). A stone tent-shaped church at a railway station of the Nikolayevsky Railway was built during 1865-1867 by the architect F.N. Sobolevsky according to the design of K.A. Ton. P.P. Melnikov, a Minister of Railways, was buried in the church in 1880 (there is the memorial tablet). In the church there was the memorial tablet with names of engineers - the first builder of railway. In 1938 the church was closed; the archpriest Pyetr Ilyinogorsky, the church dean, and the priest Kosma Yevdokimov were shot in 1937. In 1941 the church was seriously suffered from German shells. Public worships were begun to performed in a prayer house built nearby. The church worked during 1942-1943, in 1945 it was closed. The church ruins were given back to belivers in 1989. The chuch restoration was begun for the money of the Ministry of Raiways and the October Railway. From 1993 it worked as a parish and "railway" church; after restoration it was consecrated by Patriarch Alexis II. Burial places nearby the church (in particular: the burial place of the land-surveyor and topographer A.P. Bolotov) were restored, a chapel-over-the-well was constructed in the territory.
